Objective:
Prepare reports related to electricity consumption, fuel consumption, and emissions at plants. Monitor and operate load centers in the Mexican wholesale electricity market. Analyze electricity rates and electricity supply proposals, propose and/or evaluate energy efficiency projects at operating plants, assess the impact of regulatory changes, and manage electricity contracts and CELs.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily electricity reports for the Ministry of Energy and Mines (MEM).
- Prepare periodic reports for monitoring electricity supply contracts.
- Prepare presentations for senior management.
- Prepare reports using Power BI software.
- Collaborate in completing forms for CRE/CENACE/CFE and other private entities.
- Follow up on billing procedures.
- Collaborate with the legal/tax department to adapt legal conditions in contracts.
- Support in energy project evaluations in which Alpek or client companies seek NEG’s opinion.
