SUSTAINABILITY ANALYST
Objective:
Preparation of reports, analysis, and price tracking for Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs)—such as I-RECs, CELs, and other environmental commodities—as well as carbon credits, Emissions Trading Systems, carbon taxes, and biogas/biomethane. Support in the review and administration of client contracts. Tracking and reporting of NEG emissions. Monitoring news, regulations, and legislative changes related to emissions and the environment.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing quotes and following up with clients regarding the sale of environmental commodities (I-RECs, CELs, and carbon credits).
- Monitoring news and regulations (Emissions Trading Systems, emissions taxes, international standards such as SBTi, COP, Platts, etc.).
- Preparing reports using Power BI, Excel, or similar software.
- Tracking billing and invoicing processes.
- Assisting in data gathering for certifications (ESG, Alpek sustainability reporting, ESR).
- Collaborating with the legal/tax department to adjust legal terms in contracts.
- Supporting the decarbonization program for NEG and its affiliates.
- Preparing presentations for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering preferred (Industrial, Mechanical, Environmental, Chemical, or related fields).
- Data analysis skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Experience with Power BI or data management software.
